Amendment 4 removes common sense maternal health and safety regulations.
Declaration of the Florida Physicians Against Amendment 4 :
We, the undersigned physicians and allied health care professionals of Florida, strongly oppose Amendment 4, a proposal to alter our State Constitution. This amendment violates our commitment to excellent health care for women and children because it would:
1) Permit abortion through all nine months of pregnancy;
2) Permit non-physicians to determine when and if an abortion can be performed, even in late pregnancy;
3) Eliminate parental consent for minors; and
4) Remove common sense maternal health and safety regulations.
Therefore, we are united in urging all Floridians to
VOTE NO ON AMENDMENT 4
Overreaching.
Amendment 4 permits abortion through all nine months of pregnancy.
Too Permissive.
